Regime attacks Turkey's observation post in Idlib

Turkish National Defense Ministry announced Tuesday that a soldier was killed in Syrian regime's attack against observation post of the Turkish Armed Forces in Idlib.

The Ministry of National Defense reported that the Syrian regime had carried out attacks from the area it controlled in Idlib de-escalation zone to "Observation Post Number 10" belonging to the Turkish Armed Forces with artillery/mortar shots, which it deemed to have been deliberate today.

The ministry announced that a Turkish soldier was killed in the attack while 3 others were hurt.

"Russia's Ankara Attaché was summoned to the office of commander in chief in relation to the attack, necessary attempts were made before Russia; the attacks will be punished in the most severe manner," the statement said.
