Russia and Armenia agree for joint army

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed an agreement to form a joint army group with Armenia.

“The agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia on the establishment of a joint army group signed in Moscow on November 30, 2016, has been approved," a written statement from the official Kremlin website said.

It is stated that the main task of the joint army group under the agreement, which was approved by the Federation Council of the upper wing of the Russian parliament, is to rebuff the “attack” on Russia or Armenia with ‘one command, one idea, and one plan’.
