Six bodies found on Turkey-Iran border

Six men's corpses, believed to belong to irregular migrants, were found on the Turkiye's Iranian border the in vicinity of Başkale, district of Van, an eastern province of Turkey.

Turkish security identified six men's corpses near the Iranian border near Başkale, district of Van, believed to be freezing while crossing the border in winter.

The bodies first found by shepherds while Turkish gendarmerie teams were informed.

It is unknown yet when they died of cold but the bodies appeared after the melt of snow began.

The bodies reportedly were sent to the Van Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy.
