State of Emergency extends for another 3 months

ANKARA - “State of Emergency” application which is in process throughout the Turkiye, has been extended for another 3 months.

Prime Ministry resolution about State of Emergency to be extend for another 3 months has been approved by Turkiye Parliament (TBMM) to be valid from Wednesday at 01.00 from October 19, 2016.

After the statements of Prime Minister Erdogan on July 20 what he said that, “According to the 120th by law, we took advisory jurisdiction for the Government to declare State of Emergency in our country. Within this recommendation we determined to declare State of Emergency for 3 months in Council of Ministers.” then state of emergency put in process on July 21 by publishing in official gazette.

State of Emergency which would end on October 20, has been extended for another 3 months after the Prime Ministry resolution has been approved by Parliament.
