Statement from Chairman of the Supreme Board of Elections

"According to the results, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan won the absolute majority in the presidential election. AK Party, CHP, MHP, HDP and IYI Party surpass 10 percent threshold in the parliamentary election," announced on early Monday YSK.

"The number of voters in this election is 56,352,652," added Sadi Güven, head of Turkiye's Supreme Election Council [YSK].

"About 97.7 of the results from our system are currently taken. The number of votes that have not enter the system yet, will not affect the result," said Güven.

According to the results, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan won the absolute majority in the presidential election. According to unconfirmed results, the parties that passed the 10 percent threshold were determined as AK Party, CHP, HDP, IYI Party, and MHP." (ILKHA)
