Statement from governor about falling helicopter in Turkiye

Governor of Tunceli made a statement about the fall of the helicopter carrying judges, soldiers and police.

The Governor of Tunceli explained that the helicopter carrying judges, soldiers and police officers have fallen due to adverse weather conditions.

In a written statement from the governor's office, it was stated that today around 11.40 signal was cut off from a Skorsky type helicopter 10 minutes after took off from Pülümür district.

In the description, it was stated that there were 7 policemen, a judge, a petty officer and 3 crew members in the helicopter.

It was noted that the helicopter has fallen due to adverse weather conditions, and it was said that a large number of search and rescue teams were referred to the region and information would be provided from the developments.
