According to the news on Reuters, the Syrian regime army entered Manbij town after the call made by the YPG against a possible Turkiye's military operation to the region.
The regime army reportedly took control of the city.
Russia welcomes the return of Kurdish territories in Syria to the control of the regime, the Kremlin spokesman said on Friday, after Damascus said its forces had entered the town of Manbij.
