The hopeful wait continues at the sit-in protest

The action of families, whose children were deceptively kidnapped by the HDP and sent to the rural areas controlled by the PKK, continue on 23rd day outside HDP office in Diyarbakir.

Hacire Akar, whose son Mehmet Akar was kidnapped by the HDP/PKK, staged a sit-in protest outside HDP office in Diyarbakir on August 21, had been reunited with his son 3 days later.

Other families who got courage by the resist of mother Hacire Akar that she reunited with her son, have staged a sit-in protest outside HDP office on September 3 and are continuing their action with determination.

Started as of 3 September, the number of residents is increasing day by day, while on the 23rd day of the action the number of families rose to 45.

While the resolute waiting of families is continuing, families are sometimes subjected to the threats and insults of the HDP member, while support continues to increase by many groups for the suffering families.

Stressing that they have no children to give to the PKK, the families say they will not stop their actions until they receive their children back. (ILKHA)
