Armenia’s death toll from the virus reached 919, an increase of 5 deaths in the last 24 hours.
41,693 patients suffering from the disease have been discharged from hospital after being cured.
240,943 tests have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
The virus was confirmed to have reached Armenia on 1 March 2020 when its first case was reported. The disease, coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by a novel virus known as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), has spread to all of the regions (marz) of Armenia.
