The number of soldiers increased to 5 those lost their lives by being under avalanches

12 of the soldiers were injured during the avalanche fall in Bitlis's Hizan Province and the number of soldiers who lost their lives increased to 5.

Five soldiers lost their lives as a result of avalanches falling on the soldiers who were in an operation in Bitlis' Hizan in Incirli Giriziyaret hill village, 12 soldiers were wounded.

Following the fall of an avalanche, 5 soldiers affiliated to Batman Gendarmerie Commando Battalion, lost their lives and 12 others were wounded, read the statement made by the Bitlis Governorate.

It is also stated that search and rescue works continue in the area with the support of helicopter.
