There are parties support conflicts in Libya: Minister Çavuşoğlu

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu stated that there are parties support clashes in Libya that broke out after forces affiliated Gen Khalifa Hafter attacked capital Tripoli.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu held a joint press conference at the official residence Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar.

Çavuşoğlu said that they discussed the developments in Libya with his Qataris counterpart and that they did not find it right the military attack on Tripoli.

Pointing out that there are parties supporting clashes in Libya, Çavuşoğlu urged for an immediate ceasefire in the region.

"The international community needs to be sincere about this issue," Çavuşoğlu said and further stressed that international actors will not be sincere if they make statements on one hand and then remain silent.
