There will be no problem in marriages if we live Islam in our homes

"There will be no problems if we live Islam in our homes," said author Sema Maraşlı by pointing out the decreasing marriage and increasing divorces rates in the society.

Speaking to ILKHA's correspondent, author Sema Maraşlı, who met with her readers during the signature days of the 37th International TUYAP Book Fair, underlined that there will be no problem in marriages if couples live Islam in their homes.

Speaking on the decline of marriages, Maraşlı said the problems arising from both the people and the law. "We are Muslims, but we perceive Islam only as ablution and prayer in the family. Islam is not practiced in the family."

Expressing that couples do not consider and do not ask, "Whether do we rule Islam in our home?  Do we act as Islam orders when we treat each other?" Maraşlı pointed out that those are serious factors in the process of marriages.

"The hadiths and the scholars are guiding us, but we pursue our desires and get impressed by the problems of the age and the problem of the time.  Naturally, there are many problems. There will be no problem in marriages if we live Islam in our homes," she added.
