TikTok encourages pedophilia and pornography

India banned TikTok, a video-sharing application, following a lawsuit filed by a group of activists on the grounds that it encouraged pedophiles and pornography.

India banned TikTok, a video-sharing application that is said to have 500 million users worldwide.

The government asked Google and Apple on April 3, to remove TikTok from virtual app stores after the Çennai High Court ruled that the application was causing porn content to spread.

Apple has not yet removed the app while Google is has removed it.

On charges of spreading porn content, TikTok was banned in India's neighboring country Bangladesh in February

The Chinese-based ByteDance Company, owned TikTok, was sentenced to $ 5.7 million in fines in the United States for illegally collecting children's information.
