Trump threatens Iran

"If Iran wants to fight, that will be the official end of Iran," US President Donald Trump said on Sunday.

US President Donald Trump has made another statement that could increase tensions with Iran and threatened Iran.

"If Iran wants to fight, that will be the official end of Iran. Never threaten the United States again," Trump said on Twitter.

Trump tweeted after a missile launched to the high-protected green zone, including the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq.

Tensions between the two countries have escalated recently following the U.S. strengthen military presence in the Middle East.

Washington claims Iran is planning to attack U.S. presence while Iran defines the steps taken by the United States as "psychological warfare" and "a political game".

The crisis between Washington and Tehran began with the unilateral withdrawal of US President Donald Trump from the nuclear deal signed in 2015.
