According to the Turkey’s Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, 4,117 new cases were confirmed with the virus, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 38,226 in the country
1,492 patients are being treated at the intensive care units. Of those, 995 people are mechanically ventilated patients.
246 more patients have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospital.
Minister Koca urged citizen to keep social distancing and stay at home in order to prevent the spread of the pandemic.
