Turkey arrests 7 ISIL-linked suspects in Istanbul-based operation

Istanbul public prosecutor's office released arrest warrants against 7 ISIL-linked suspects across 3 provinces on Friday.

Turkish police launched simultaneous operations in Istanbul, Manisa, and Hatay provinces after the Chief Prosecutor’s Office in Istanbul had issued arrest warrants for 7 suspects, who were allegedly acted within the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

The suspects are being interrogated in the provincial police departments.

The suspects will be transferred to the courthouse when their official procedures at the police department are completed.
