“Due to the cost increases in electricity generation, a 15 percent increase was made in final electricity sales prices for all subscriber groups, effective as of July 1, 2021. In this context, as of July 1, 2021, residential subscribers will pay 91.56 Turkish Liras, including taxes and funds, for 100 kilowatt-hours of electrical energy,” the authority said.

Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority announced a 15 percent increase in electricity prices for all subscriber groups starting on June 1.
