Turkey: Minimum wage will be 2,825 Turkish liras ($380) in 2021

Net minimum wage for single people will be 2,825 Turkish liras ($380) in 2021, starting from Jan. 1, Turkey’s labor, social services and family minister announced on Monday.

The minimum wage for married people with three children is 3,013 Turkish liras ($400), the Minister said.

Turkey’s Minimum Wage Determination Commission held its first meeting on December 4, under the presidency of Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services via video conference due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

The commission convened today for the last time to determine the minimum wage for 2021.
