Turkey offers condolences to Japan for loss of lives by floods

Turkey Foreign Ministry issued Sunday a press release regarding the floods in Japan, which have so far killed at least 16 people.

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives and extensive damage caused by floods and mudslides in Kumamoto and Kagoshima prefectures, Japan,” the Ministry said.

“We extend our sincere condolences to the people and Government of Japan as well as to the relatives of those who lost their lives and wish a quick recovery to the injured,” it added.
