The number of patients rose to 474,606, after 6,876 more people were hospitalized with COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 4,711 patients are in critical condition, 388,771 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
17,901,868 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
