Turkey’s daily death toll from coronavirus drops to 21

21 people have died from coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours in Turkey, rising the country’s death toll from the virus to 4,630, announced Fahrettin Koca, Turkish Health Minister, on his Twitter account on Thursday.

Turkey has so far reported 167,410 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of 988 cases in the last 24 hours.

131,778 patients suffering from the disease have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.

While 602 patients are being treated in intensive care unit, there are some 265 patients who are mechanically ventilated. 

A total of 2,209,583 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country.
