Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus rises to 649, says Health Minister

75 people who tested positive for the coronavirus have died in the past 24 hours, bringing Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus pandemic to 649, the county’s Health Minister, Fahrettin Koca, said on Twitter on Monday.

According to the Minister, the number of confirmed cases has risen to 30,217, including 3,148 new cases that confirmed in the last 24 hours.

“The number of daily tests will soon reach 30,000. The rate of increase in the number of patients recovering continues. The increase in the number of cases is low due to the increasing number of tests. Let's not give the virus a chance. Let's stay home,” he said.
