Turkey’s Presidential Cabinet to convene on Wednesday

Turkey’s Presidential Cabinet will convene at 15:00 on Wednesday under President Erdoğan's chairmanship at the Presidential Complex.

The meeting was scheduled to convene today but it has been postponed due to Erdoğan’s visit to his homeland Rize.

Measures against coronavirus, including new restrictions, and the researches for vaccines and treatments as well as the vaccination timeline are expected to be at the table during the meeting, according to the presidency’s Directorate of Communications.

The recommendations put forth by Coronavirus Scientific Advisory Board will also be discussed at the meeting.

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca is slated to give an update about the coronavirus pandemic during the meeting.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will make a statement after the meeting.
