Turkish defense minister holds a phone conversation with Iran’s top general

The Turkish Minister of Defense Hulusi Akar held a phone conversation with General Mohammad Bagheri, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, on Monday.

Akar mentioned about the efforts of Turkish Armed Forces and government in managing and combating the coronavirus pandemic, delivering a comprehensive report on the statistics and trend of spread of coronavirus in Turkey and measures taken by Armed Forces of the country.

Akar called for the exchange of experiences in the scientific, professional and executive fields between the armed forces of the two countries in this regard.

Akar also stated that they are ready to send domestic and national health products produced in Turkey to friendly Iranian people in case of need.
