Turkiye's election prohibition lifts: YES 55%, NO 45%

The first results were announced by the Supreme Election Board [YSK] after the lift of the election ban.

Initial results were announced after the referendum ended in Turkiye. Accordingly, YES voting rate is 55 percent, and NO is 45 percent.

The voting process started at 07.00 in 32 provinces of the East and South East of Turkiye and ended at 16.00. In other provinces, voting started at 08.00 hours was completed as of 17.00.

According to the initial results, YES is 55% in Turkiye and 45% in NO, whereas the distribution of votes according to some cases is as follows:

Istanbul YES 52.11 percent, NO 47.89 percent; Ankara YES 55.80 percent, 44.20 percent is NO; Diyarbakır YES is 33.6 percent, NO 66.94; İzmir YES 33.99 percent, NO 66.1 percent; Konya YES 75.15 percent, NO 24.85 percent; Kayseri YES 69.25, NO 30.75; Bingöl YES 73.06 percent, NO 26.94; Erzurum YES 74.65 percent, NO 25.35 percent
