Turkiye's Supreme Election Board President: The ballot papers are not fake

Turkiye's YSK [Supreme Election Board] Chairman Güven said that the ballot papers and envelopes claimed to be invalid are non-falsified ballots and envelopes produced by the Supreme Board of Elections.

YSK Chairman Sadi Güven was in important clarifications to journalists about the ballot papers and envelopes alleged to be invalid.

"The Ballot papers are not fake"

Güven said: "The right to vote and to participate in the ballot is regulated in Article 67 of the Constitution. We prepared voter lists in this direction. The envelopes and ballot papers issued to citizens are documents produced specially by the YSK with a watermark. You can see behind the name of YSK when you remove. The ballot papers and envelopes that are said to be in dispute and which are alleged to be invalid are produced by the Supreme Board of Elections. They are rightful, not unfair ballot and envelopes. We decided that as the YSK they should use the constitutional right of the citizen because of the mistake made by representatives of political parties who were on duty in the ballot box boards. Ballot papers are not fake."
