Understanding Prophet and Living His Sunnah event began in Diyarbakır

"Understanding Prophet and Living His Sunnah" event, which was organized by Prophet Lovers Foundation, beginning with intensive participation in central Diyarbakır, a southeastern province of Turkiye.

The event, which held for the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad [Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon Him] and called Mawlid al-Nabi, was realized in Newroz Rally area in central Diyarbakır province with high participation of Prophet lovers.

People performed Dhuhr prayer jointly right before the program begin.

The big event, which themed "Prophet Muhammad, Guide to the Morality and Justice" kicked off at 13.00 presented by Yunus Emiroğlu and Mehmet Emin Gülsever.

Syrian Hafiz [Memorized al-Qur'an] Sheikh Munir kicked off the event with the reciting al-Qur'an, while participants shouted salawats and takbirs.

The mewlidans [who read Mawlid, poem written on Prophet Muhammad], Nezir Güler, Musap Şanlı, Ibrahim Akbaş, and Cahit Kılıç took their place on the platform for reading al-Mawlid.

Mawlid was filled with spirituality and it was observed that the people experienced emotional moments and couldn't hold their tears during the read of al-Mawlid.

A tribune was set to host the guests; a large number of scholars, representatives of Islamic communities, guests from abroad, opinion leaders and NGO representatives were present.

HUDA PAR President Ishak Sağlam, who came to the event area, shook hands with guests from domestic and foreign countries.

A flood of emotions occurred by Prophet lovers filled the area especially in the section describing the death of our Prophet Muhammad.
