US Vice President Mike Pence to lead delegation to Turkey

Vice President Mike Pence will come to Turkey to negotiate ceasefire

After US imposed a series of sanctions on Turkey over its Syria operation, Vice President Mike Pence has announced that he will be in Ankara for negotiation on ceasefire

He will be travelling urgently to Turkey at President Trump's demand. “He directed me to lead a delegation. I will be leaving as quickly as possible to travel into the region to pursue a ceasefire and negotiated settlement”, Pence noted.

The Delegation will include Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien. They will be meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
