HUDA PAR Education Directorate make important evaluations and suggestions after the 2016-2017 academic year ended on Friday, June 9.
The following expressions were made in the assessment, which said they have serious shortcomings and problems in terms of education level and quality:
“Undoubtedly, education is one of the most important and fundamental issues of a country. Because persons who will build the future of the society raise in those education institutions. The civilization level of a society is directly proportional to the quality of the education. In recent years in our country important arrangements have been made in the field of education. We are facing serious shortcomings and problems in terms of level and quality.”
“An education understanding that compatible with beliefs and values of the society should be applied”
“The need for an ideal understanding of education that scientific realities blended with religion and moral values is getting more and more intense every day. It is necessary to consider the needs of our society which are in harmony with the beliefs and values of our society. Such educational understanding has become a necessity to be put into the field.” The following suggestions were made:
"-Instead of an exam system that changes all the time and cause instability, a new modern, fixed and fair examination system should be adopted.
- Combined education, which negatively affects both our biological, psychological and spiritual development and success rates, must be excluded from compulsory education, and legal arrangements should allow girls and boys to read in separate schools.
-The issue of the headscarf and being covered liberation, which brings a sense of relaxation in the educational institutions in a partial sense, should be taken under constitutional guarantee and the problem should be resolved permanently.
-Course books should be free of content contrary to religious and moral values, and school curricula should be prepared taking into account the sensitivity and expectations of the Muslim people.
-Imposing single language in education should be abandoned, and everyone should be able to receive education in their mother language, especially Kurdish. In case of a request for training in Kurdish. As of now, sufficient teacher appointments should be made for Kurdish in elective course status.”
HUDA PAR Education Directorate stated that they wish a good summer vacation for teachers and students at the end of their evaluation. (ILKHA)
