“We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience,” the company added.
The outage was also confirmed in a message posted on WhatsApp’s Twitter account.
“We’re aware that some people are experiencing issues with WhatsApp at the moment. We’re working to get things back to normal and will send an update here as soon as possible,” the message said.
The reason for the outage was not immediately clear as the platforms did not immediately respond to a request for comment from media outlets. (ILKHA)
