Work to extinguish the forest fire in Bilecik continue

Fire extinguishing work that started from Kütahya’s Dominiç district and bounced to Bilecik Bozüyük Çamlıyayla village in the wooded area is continuing.

According to the Bilecik Governor's statement, the work to extinguish fire continues.

“Fire extinguishing work that started from Kütahya’s Dominiç district on September 10, 2017, and bounced to Bilecik Bozüyük Çamlıyayla village in the wooded area is continuing,” said in the statement made by Bilecik Governor Office.

Bilecik Governor Tahir Büyükakın, Forestry General Manager Bekir Karacabey, 2nd Gendarmerie Training Brigade Commander Brigadier General Tanju Selçuk Yücel, AK Party Bilecik deputy Halil Eldemir, Bozüyük District Governor Hasan Yaman, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Hacı Mehmet İnce and Bursa Forest Regional Director Arif Can and other people have been examined on site.

16 helicopter, two fire-fighting aircraft, a large number of sprinklers and fire truck with forest teams, citizens and the 2nd Gendarmerie Training Brigade Command troops, 9th Gendarmerie Training Regiment Command troops participated in the firefighting operation.
