World Bank revises its economic growth forecast for Turkey's economy

The World Bank has revised its economic growth forecast for the Turkey's economy for 2019.

Turkey's economy will record zero percent GDP growth this year, the World Bank predicted in its Economic Update for Europe and Central Asia that released on Wednesday.

The World Bank had predicted that the Turkish economy would contract 1 percent in 2019 in its June report.

According to the World Bank, Turkey's GDP growth will rebound to 3 percent this year and 4 percent in 2021.
