Yapıcıoğlu: No matter who the president is, the US will carry on its imperialist policies

The Vice President of HÜDA PAR, Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, said that as long as the basic policies of the United States towards Islamic geography, Jerusalem and the Palestinian cause do not change, no matter who President is, nothing will change.

In his weekly statement on external developments, Yapıcıoğlu have made important evaluations regarding the attack on Kabul University, the unity of Muslims against the hostility to Islam and the United States election.

The attack on Kabul University

Evaluating the attack on Kabul University where 22 people were killed, Yapıcıoğlu said: “Tens of thousands of civilian people have been killed in Afghanistan since 2001. The escalation of the violence in Afghanistan after the peace agreement, which stipulated the withdrawal of US troops from the country and was expected to end the chaos and instability, is ‘meaningful’. The last attack on Kabul University has showed that stability is not desired in Afghanistan, and the continuation of foreign intervention is aimed.”

“The only way to ensure peace in Afghanistan is the withdrawal of foreign troops from the country”

Emphasizes necessity to implement withdrawal of foreign forces from the country, Yapıcığlu went on to say: “The only way to ensure peace in Afghanistan is the withdrawal of foreign troops. The negotiations between the Afghan administration and the Taliban should take place in an environment of a permanent ceasefire and two side should give priority the safety and well-being of the people, not to their desire for dominance. Otherwise, the termination of occupation and the existence of foreign troops in the country will not be possible. We wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in the attack on Kabul University and condemn all attacks targeting civilian people.”

“Muslims should be unified against the hostility to Islam in European countries”

Touching on Germany’s decision to ban the protest against Charlie Hebdo magazine, which republished cartoons insulting Islam and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Yapıcıoğlu: “The ban, imposed on the protest on the grounds of protecting freedom of opinion in Liberal Europe, reveals Germany's hypocritical policies. On one hand, peaceful protests are considered to interfere with the freedom of speech, on the other hand, all kinds of anti-Islamic expressions, including insult, are welcomed in supposedly liberal Europe. In Germany, where there were 871 attacks against Muslims in 2019, Chancellor Merkel has revealed her thoughts of Islam and Muslims by saying ‘Islamist terror is our common enemy’.”

“Muslims should speak with one voice to confront the hostility to Islam”

Underlining the necessity for Muslims to unify against anti-Islamism in Europe, Yapıcıoğlu continued his remarks as follows: In some European countries, the hostility towards Islam, which is intended to be made a state policy, has reached such a point that Muslims cannot freely use their religious symbols and exercise their freedom of expression and worship. Encouraged by the conflicts in the Islamic world, European leaders invent a legal cover for their hatred of Muslims and commit the acts of state terrorism against Muslims. Recent events have shown the need for a unity of power that will protect the legal rights of Muslims and develop a common attitude towards injustice. Muslims should speak with one voice to confront the hostility to Islam.”

The US election

Reminding that Americans cast their votes last week to determine the 46th president of the United States, Yapıcıoğlu said: “Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden competed with incumbent President Donald Trump in the United States election. According to the unofficial results, Joe Biden won the race.”

He concluded his statement as follows: “It is the system that is essential in the United States, and the system is based on America's interests and cruelty to the world. Democrats and Republicans are also two wings of that system. Regardless of the language, religion, race, color of the presidents who come to power, America's imperialist policies will continue. As long as the basic policies of the United States towards the Islamic geography, the oppressed peoples, Jerusalem and the Palestinian cause do not change, no matter who President is, nothing will change.”
