Zionist court orders seven Sheikh Jarrah families to leave their homes

An israeli court on Monday ordered seven Palestinian families to evacuate their homes in the east Jerusalem district of Sheikh Jarrah.

According to local sources, the seven families threatened with displacement live Kabaniyat Umm Harun area in the west of Sheikh Jarrah.

The homes belong to Amal Sheraiteh, Labiba Khatib, Ahmed Ghazzawi, Fatima Bashiti, Mustafa Khatib, Ameen Abu Dawla and Asem Bashiti.

Palestinian lawyer Mohamed Dahla said that a settlement company filed a lawsuit against those families and claimed it has ownership documents.

Meanwhile, the Hebrew website Kippah said that the zionist municipality in Jerusalem intends to build a new Jewish kindergarten in Sheikh Jarrah district.

Kippah claimed that the municipality decided to respond to Jerusalemite families’ rejection of a court compromise regarding their homes in Sheikh Jarrah by building a kindergarten in their area.
