The construction of the garden will take two years and be built on 25 dunums of land in Sheikh Jarrah at a cost of 28 million shekels, according to the Israeli municipality.
According to the municipality, the garden project will include seating area, playgrounds, sports and recreation facilities, walking and cycling paths, a café, public toilets, a fountain and other public places and structures.
