An Arab origin woman wearing hijab was killed by an assailant wearing a mask and riding a scooter in Pantin.
According to the police reports the incident occurred in Pantin at about 21.00. 30 years old woman was shot dead with five bullets while sitting in her car. The shots were reportedly fired by a person riding a scooter and wearing a mask.
The police ruled out islamophobia claims and said their investigation is underway to enlighten the murder and find out the motive behind the event.
Head of Pantin mosque M’Hammed Henniche made a statement over the incident. Officials were urged in the statement to find the assailant immediately. Henniche also reacted to the eye witnesses who fled the scene before police arrived.
