A 3.9 magnitude earthquake jolts eastern Turkey

The 3.9 quake hit the Pötürge district of Turkey’s eastern Malatya province late on Friday, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.

The earthquake occurred at around 23:18 TSI, with its epicenter at a latitude of 38.2258 degrees north and a longitude of 38.7005 degrees east, and at a depth of 6.99 km.
