A 4.7 magnitude earthquake hits eastern Turkey
The 4.7 quake hit the Pütürge district of Malatya province on Friday, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.
The earthquake occurred at around 11:27 a.m., with its epicenter at a latitude of 38.2083 degrees north and a longitude of 38.6063 degrees east, and at a depth of 6.94 km.
There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
