A delegation went to Baghdad for Bashiqa crisis

ANKARA - It is reported that a delegation went to Baghdad from Ankara in order to end Bashiqa crisis which occurred between Turkiye and Iraq

A delegation from Turkiye went to Baghdad after a crises experienced between Turkiye and Iraq.

A delegation leading by Ümit Yalçın, assistant secretary of Foreign Ministry, will discuss about the contribution of Turkiye to involve in operations against ISIS and also with the option of including the status of Bashiqa camp under the coalition forces.

Turkiye wants their soldier to be exist in there for Telafer operation which planning to be launched after Mosul operation. Job definition of Turkish soldiers is aiming to be cleared in the interview in Baghdad.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a statement about the operation on Mosul and said, “How am I not going to enter? We have 350 kilometers border with that country. Those who irrelevant are involved. What they say, ‘Baghdad has asked them to come’. They can read misak-ı milli [national pact] if they wish. We will also be at the table in operation. Because history is laying there for us.”
