Australian Police found Vatican Treasurer Cardinal George Pell on charges of sexual harassment.

Australia's Victoria state police explained that the accusations were related to “historic/past” events, and they were told by multiple people about harassment of Cardinal Pell at the Vatican Treasury.

Pell, who denies the charges, said on Thursday that he had a “personality assassination” by organizing a press conference and announced that he was leaving with the approval of the Pope to fight the allegations against him.

Pell, who is the name of the treasure in the Vatican, is the third highest official of the Catholic Church. Cardinal Pell was scheduled to appear on the court on July 18th.
