Eight people were wounded in the armed attack on the community in front of a mosque in the Grange d'Orel neighborhood of Avignon, in the south of France.

According to the information, two people carried out armed attack by a car in front of Rahmet Mosque in the town of Grange d'Orel in Avignon at around 22:30 local time.

Four people were injured in the attack who were getting out of the mosque. Later on, the attackers learned that went about 50 meters and injured 4 other people on the second floor of an apartment building.

The French police have launched a large-scale operation to capture the attackers. (ILKHA)
