A vehicle in the UK's Westgate Road region drive into the Muslims who were celebrating eid of Ramadan.

According to information, the attack in Newcastle city took place near a mosque at 09.14 local time.

The car ploughed into the crowd on the sidewalk, consist of families who were wishing merry eid in front of the Westgate Sports Center.

3 children, 6 people injured in the attack. Wounded people were taken to hospital in the region.

When a large number of ambulances and police were being dispatched to the scene, it was learned that a suspect was taken into custody.
