Noting that the great transformation the world was going through also scaled up their responsibilities, Erdoğan said: “On this path, we walk with the support of more than half of our people, we have a responsibility to guide our country through a historic crossroads.”

Turkey is among the few countries which continued to grow during a year of a global health crisis. The fact that Turkey grew by 4.8 percent in agriculture, by 2.8 percent in the service industry and 2 percent in the industry demonstrates that we have a balanced and strong infrastructure. Similarly, our export volume in February has surpassed $16 billion and the export-to-import ratio has neared 83 percent. With our steps towards controlled normalization, the negative impacts of our anti-pandemic measures have begun to dissipate.”
