All five fighters who attacked a hotel have also died during the assault, the local officials said in a statement on Wednesday.
Five people were killed in an attack on a hotel in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu, the victims were three civilians and two members of the security forces, the statement noted.
On the other hand, Al-Shabaab issued a statement online Tuesday saying it had carried out an operation which happened as planned.
