Global coronavirus death toll reaches 2,230,297
At least 103,169,675 people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus-related fatalities with 450,381 deaths, followed by Brazil with 223,971 deaths, India with 154,312 deaths, and Mexico with 152,016 deaths.
At least 158,074 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide.
