Global coronavirus death toll reaches 3,898,979
At least 179,959,774 people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, 2020, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus-related fatalities with 617,875 deaths, followed by Brazil with 504,897 deaths, India with 390,691 deaths, and Mexico with 231,505 deaths.
At least 164,726,893 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide.
