The works in the International Exhibition of paintings in Gaziantep, attended by artists from 12 different countries, mostly from Arab countries, with the theme of "the universal power of art", attracted a great deal of attention by art lovers.

With the support of Gaziantep Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, the unlimited paintings collection includes beautiful works prepared by the Syrian Kurdish painter Dilbaz Barazi and produced by the painters.

Painters came together through social media experienced the joy of opening their exhibitions consisting of oil paintings and line paintings in Gaziantep. Fifty painting artists participated with 110 different works and the paintings were brought together with art lovers in the Metropolitan Municipality Onat Kutlar State Theatre Hall.

Syrian painters who participated in the exhibition painted their paintings depicting the drama of the war in Syria and some historical sites belonging to Gaziantep and cities in Syria.

Provincial Culture and Tourism Director Bülent Öztürk, who made evaluations about the painting exhibition which was opened at a ceremony in Gaziantep and will remain open for 10 days, said that with this exhibition, artists from abroad, especially Syrian painters, met with the Gaziantep people.

"The works are really beautiful. As the Provincial Directorate of Culture and tourism, we host our artists," said Öztürk.

He added that some of the artists were able to come, and some of them sent their works. "The works of our artists are exhibited here by the Unlimited Collection of paintings."

Syrian Kurdish painter Dilbaz Barazi, Coordinator of the Unlimited Paintings Society, said that since the opening of the painting exhibition, they aim to fuse the brotherhood between all the peoples of the world with the painting exhibition they have opened.

Malaz Hamsho, a painter who came from Idlib, Syria, lived in Turkey for 7 years, and exhibited his works in the exhibition, said that he had moved his art to Turkey after the war.

The Syrian calligrapher Muhiddin Najib and his wife Hasnaa Tahhan, who fled Turkey about 5 years ago because of the war in Syria, said they are very happy to take part in such an exhibition.

Essad Elvan and Nasir Cevat, who participated in the exhibition from Iraq, also said that they participated in an exhibition in Gaziantep for the first time and expressed their satisfaction with the interest in the exhibition.
