Gunman attacks HDP office in Turkey's Izmir
A Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) official was killed in an armed attack on the party’s provincial office in western Turkey's Izmir province.
A gunman entered the building with a gun and proceeded to fire rounds from the window toward the street.
The attacker also set the building on fire, according to local sources.
After an operation conducted by security forces, the attacker was caught and detained.
