Hamas urges Lebanese leader to pay special attention to the issue of Palestinian refugees
Head of Hamas Political Bureau Abroad Khaled Meshal has phoned Lebanese President Michel Aoun, Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri, and Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati to offer congratulations on the formation of the new government.
In the phone calls, Meshal urged the three top Lebanese officials to pay special attention to the issue of the Palestinian refugees residing in Lebanon and alleviate their hardship until they return to their hometowns and villages from which they were forced out by Zionist gangs in 1948.
The Hamas official stressed that the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon will always be a helping hand to the Lebanese people, and the countries they are residing in.
