Yılmaz stated pointed out that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan gathered the same vote in the previous Presidential referendum and added, "Alliance with the MHP did not benefit at all. In fact, the rhetoric that the MHP uses to persuade its base has propelled the Kurdish electorate to HDP in the region. Despite this, the number of 'yes' votes has increased steadily in the region despite as it has fallen to 'no' even in Istanbul. This underlines that the Kurdish electorate still needs to solve the Kurdish issue through civilian politics. At this point, it should not be ignored that HUDA PAR also has the effect of the saying 'yes, but not enough' on the region. Currently, HUDA PAR is a key party.
